"In our fast paced world we often forget to enjoy the simple beauty that surrounds us everyday.  We create our carvings with the hope that it reminds people to slow down and enjoy these fragile treasures.  Whether it is to smile at little sandpipers bustling along the shore or to ponder the awesome beauty of a soaring eagle, if we make just one person more aware we have achieved our goal."
